"Nothing is impossible with hard work!"

My name is Vernadine and I have just graduated from Anglo-Chinese School Independent with the IB diploma. I did Chemistry, Math and Economics at Higher Level, and Physics, Literature and Chinese at Standard Level. I was in Track and Field, Synchronized Swimming and the Interact club. In addition, I have played the Gu Zheng for about 9 years, and have achieved a Grade 8 diploma. In the Interact club, I tutored primary school children. These children were aged 7 to 12. I helped them with a range of subjects such as English, Science, Math and Chinese. To my knowledge, these children were better able to cope with their school workload and fared better in their examinations. I believe that the best way to do well is through understanding and practice. I prefer students to come to me with questions from class or their homework so that I can gage the areas in which they are weak at. Nonetheless, I am able to find questions for them to practice on. Since, I have just graduated, I feel that I can help student deal with the rigours of sitting for exams and teach them relevant tips for studying.
