"Cultivating Excellent Spirits"

I am a university undergrad with no experience as an official tutor. However I have helped at a study programme for students in my church for 3 years now. I have a passion for helping students not just make improvements in their academics but also in managing stress and meeting needs beyond just the books. General teaching style: Going through the syllabus and clarifying the students' doubts, giving extra practice in areas and topics that they need to brush up on. Extra practice for the purpose of understanding and exposure to a variety of questions. Having said that, I do vary the teaching style according to individual students' needs and learning styles. I am a strong believer in helping students to enjoy the learning process by catering to individual learning styles. I am flexible and sensitive to students' workload and stress levels. I believe that the best in every child can be brought out but not at the expense of physical, emotional and mental strain. I am committed to a positive and fruitful learning journey with the students that I help. I believe the learning experiences inculcated can eventually become a lifestyle for success.
