A tutor for 5 years and going, I have been studying the mindset of different students and understand the difficulties they are facing. This helps me to transfer my information to them in an efficient manner. My teaching style is imparting deep understanding of fundamentals to students. I believe that when they are truly familiar with the formulae and concepts, they will be better at applying it. I have access to top school prelim papers and use the challenging questions as case studies so as to help my students understand the concepts better. My teaching involves a lot of pictures and real-life scenario so that students can relate better. Sometimes, I use props like earphone wires, batteries, Styrofoam box and other simple physical objects. This is especially useful for those who have problems visualizing. All in all, tutoring has been fulfilling to me as I can help and inspire people. This is why I am into full-time tuition.
