Fresh graduate from Raffles Institution (JC) waiting for the release of A level results. I believe in making my students truly understand the concepts they learn. This builds a strong foundation that makes it much easier to apply these concepts to challenging questions or to form links between topics. By identifying the student's strengths and weaknesses, I am able to customise lessons specifically for him or her. Also, especially for younger students, I feel it is important to explain lesson material in a way that is engaging, interactive and relevant, such as through applying classroom topics to the real world. As a student myself, I understand how studying can feel like a chore and will strive to ensure that my students do not feel the same, and instead take pride in their education.
