"positivity and hard work is key"

I am a 4th year undergraduate at Nanyang technological University. I have volunteered and taught at special needs centres. I have also taught primary school students (P3, P4), and secondary students (sec 1-4). With my students, I have systematically taught them step by step; explaining and making them understand the concept, giving examples and allowing them to try to solve it by themselves. I like to give encouragement, incentives through lesser homework or candy (if they show good behaviour and give correct answers during class), and also give appropriate breaks. I like kids and I believe that with time and a little push, I can help my students do better with their studies. I am responsible and committed, and will give my all to help them.
