"It takes 2 hands to clap. Mine is ready and waiting, how about yours?"
Hi there! I'm a dedicated and committed tutor. In 2014, I gave tuition to lower secondary kids on English and Science subjects and hence very familiar with the syllabus (IP program also taught). Currently graduated from NUS with 2nd uppers (Honors) and looking to give some part-time tuition to assist any parents with enhancing their kids' education! I have a very strong foundation in physics and biology (degree in biomedical engineering), as well as being fundamentally strong with my English language (Grade A for General Paper). Overall, I am academically proficient throughout my studying years, with also a 'deans list' award for academic excellence in University. If your kid needs help in science or English in these areas, I'm the right guy to approach and he/she will be in good hands!!
My previous student, Damien, a secondary 2 express student, was facing difficulties in his science subjects (mainly in chemistry and physics component), failing some of his class tests throughout the semester. After I came in to guide him, he became better at understanding what his teacher taught, and was also able to remember concepts. He managed to do well in his final exams (from a mediocre grade to B3) and got into a pure science stream. I did not tutor him in Secondary 3, and was contacted by his Dad recently in 2017 (when he turned Sec 4) as his grades for Sec 3 dropped again and needed my help to tutor again for the upcoming O levels
I graduated with second class (Upper) honors in Engineering, with a 'Dean's List award' for excellent academic performance to my name. I obtained A's for General Paper, and Sciences in A-level.
