"Getting there step by step"
I have been a home tutor since 2004. I have taught over 15 primary school kids including my 3 kids and almost 8 of them have sat for PSLE. Now, my first daughter is in NUS, my son is in Temasek Poly and my youngest daughter is in Anderson Secondary School. Many of my students started out failing their math and science subjects. However, most of them scored Bs and above for PSLE.
All my 3 kids scored 240 and above for PSLE. 2 of my students, who have been failing math managed to score a pass in the PSLE. And 5 of them have scored As and Bs for math and science. Most of my students who were in the brink of being retained in primary school all managed to proceed to secondary school.
