"Discovering the potential in each child"

My name is Sherina, and I am a graduating student at Nanyang Technological University. I major in Psychology and Early Childdhood Education. I love to interact with children and youths and guide them in the best way I can and do have relevant teaching and classroom experiences. I have taught in preschool for science enrichment lessons, as well as teaching primary and secondary school children (English, Social Studies) on a voluntary basis. I am currently helping out at Rainbow Centre as a classroom support. I believe that every children has their own path and own way of learning, and my aim is to discover that with them. Hence, I do not believe in implementing a one track method of learning, but rather, customize an individual education plan for each and every child, so that they can employ the same set of study skills to other subjects, beyond the subjects I teach. In addition, I am able to help out on other areas of teaching beyond subjects, such as music. I have 4 years of experience playing the clarinet and 2 years of experience in Chinese music.
