Hi! My name is Vivian, and I'm am RJC graduate waiting for A Level results. Currently, I hold offers to study Law at Oxford, UCL, KCL, and Durham. I'm passionate about both the spoken and written word, and I'd love the opportunity to pass on the knowledge I've acquired to help my students do the best they can in their exams :)

I have a significant amount of experience with both creative and argumentative essay writing, and am thus well placed to teach these skills. I've been a voracious writer since Primary school, and have participated in the Creative Arts Programme, as well as attained awards in several creative writing competitions in secondary school (Silver in the Commonwealth Creative Writing Junior and Senior categories, 1st place for the International Torrance Legacy Creativity Awards Junior category). In JC, I won the United Nation Annual Seminar 2016 Essay Competition, and attained High Commendation (top 10%) for the Robert Walker Prize For Essays In Law, organised by Cambridge University. As a competitive debater who has won several competitions, I also have a good deal of experience crafting arguments and expressing myself articulately. I believe that such skills are crucial for doing well, especially in JC, where argumentative rigour and clarity is needed for essays, and I will be able to impart these necessary skills to my students. I have held the Edusave Entrance Scholarships for Independent Schools from 2012-2017, the MOE Humanities Scholarship Award from 2016-2017, and have recently been accepted by Oxford, UCL, KCL, and Durham to study Law.
