"Study smart and working hard"
I having being tutoring since my poly years to my undergraduate years (roughly 6 years as part-time tutor) I stopped during my PhD studies, but helped out as teaching assistants for both laboratory and tutorials. Resume tutoring after obtaining my PhD in 2014 as full-time tutor. I believe understanding the concepts and applying them is important, you cannot just memories the answers from TYS booklet. Study smart and working hard is both essential. Enough practices especially for Math can boost confidence level during exam to obtain a better score. Different students use different methods in tutoring, eg. some students low esteem so encouragement method will be better, some students is playful and lack focus so be firmed and pulling them back to study etc..
